Bridging the Gap for Underprivileged Learners in Nigeria
At Omoogun Foundation, we believe that education is the cornerstone of empowerment. Our programs offer vital resources and opportunities to underserved children and adults throughout Nigeria, helping them unlock their potential and thrive.
Our Focus Areas
Early Education Support Initiative
The Omoogun Foundation addresses critical gaps in Nigeria’s early education system through our School Support Initiative. We provide underfunded public elementary and high schools with supplies—including, chairs, desks, books, and other essential learning materials—to create equitable learning environments. Future projects will focus on enhancing infrastructure such as renovating dilapidated school buildings, educational equipment and technologies to create safer and more conducive learning environments for students.
Omoogun Emerging Scholars Program
Our signature Emerging Scholars Program was created in honor of Pa Ogundele’s vision, of helping aspiring and hardworking underprivileged youth in Nigeria to achieve their educational and career goals. We believe in Pa Ogundele’s vision that education is the foundation for human capital development and the most effective weapon to pull people and families out of ignorance, disease and poverty.
By covering full tuition costs for tertiary education, we remove financial barriers for high-achieving students who lack resources. Recipients also receive personalized mentorship and career guidance, ensuring they graduate with the skills to succeed. This program is open to academically gifted and hard-working applicants from low-income family with inability to pay tuitions through higher institutions.
In addition, outstanding recipients may be eligible for the following honorary awards in the specific academic/professional pursuits.
RAJI SCHOLARS: Engineering, computer science, information systems, Agriculture and technological related fields.
VICTORIA SCHOLARS: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health. Therapy, Social works and Human services related fields.
ADUKE SCHOLARS: Business, Finance, Marketing, Management, Legal, Education, Politics, Media and related fields.
